My neck is slowly getting better. I still have a lot of soreness in the muscles of the neck, back and shoulder on the right side, and I still can't turn my head especially to the right side. I'm having a second epidural injection on Tuesday and I feel optimistic that it is going to finish off the problem (over the course of the two weeks following the procedure).
Now that the pain has become manageable, slowing down has been fun. I did some spring cleaning, some home improvement, and planted a vegetable garden and flowers.

I'm in the same slower mode (but not because of injury), and I realize how much I miss because of my usual pace. When pain is eased, or right after you start to feel better after a bad cold or serious illness, there is a moment where you have to acknowledge that nothing is more important or basic than health. How do I bottle this appreciation so I can remember it in more frenetic times? I'm so happy to hear you're feeling better.

Am glad to hear things are looking up a bit. Always take the time to heal up and then move back into previous activities slowly and build back up. Glad you are making the best of things!

What all did you plant? I haven't been moving fast on gardening at all this year, but Mom thinks there will still be another frost so I'm willing to procrastinate. :)

It's a Murphy's law thing. If I waited to plant, there would be no late frost. If I go ahead and plant, then a frost will definitely occur. So, guess what is happening this weekend? I will cover the babies with tarps and blankets.
I planted various tomatoes, bell pepper (green and yellow), jalopeno pepper, okra, and banana pepper. I also planted sweet pea seeds but won't put those in the ground until they are big enough to place on stakes/supports. Also basil, sunflower and zinnia.

Ummm... it's been about a week and we have waited patiently... how are you doing? Better I hope?
