Paper and iron, copper and nickel

I shouldn't be surprised. I'm discovering that my 1100 page textbook Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management by Reilly and Brown is juicier than a leisurely fiction novel.

Perhaps a career field change is order, although Emanuel Derman's book My Life as a Quant did not paint a rosy picture of the financial world.

I looked for that book in my local library system a while back and think it was checked out, then I forgot about it.
