Cat 4 Women

To join the BBC racing team, all I had to do was buy a racing kit. Mmm-hmm, their requirements are stringent. ;) This means I will probably do some road races this summer; maybe even a crit if I feel brave.

Yesterday I had new Look pedals installed on my bike. HUGE difference from the speedplays; I feel like I immediately gained 10% in power due to the larger surface area. I'm trying them out on the roads tomorrow.

Spring is getting near!!

Congrats! Maybe you can talk your team into doing the Giro de Brandon race this summer. I'm the Race Director again. :-)

OK, I thought I was becoming semi-literate in this language (grin). What is a "crit"?

A crit is a criterium race - it's where cyclists go around a loop several times. Usually in large packs at high speeds, through steep curves. Very exciting to watch.

Yep, I think the black is going to be hot. BBC is making a white jersey so we can drop $60 bucks again.
